Jared Robertson joined Energy Strategies in November 2024 as a Senior Consultant and supports the firm’s regulatory practice. He provides analysis on energy issues in utility regulatory proceedings focused on revenue requirements, cost of service studies, and rate design.

In his analysis work, Jared identifies relevant impacts in rate proceedings, and he provides expert witness testimony on these subjects to balance ratemaking principles with client interests.

Before joining Energy Strategies, Jared worked at Dominion Energy Services, Inc. where he provided analysis and expert witness testimony on annual revenue requirement calculations for a variety of generation assets. His areas of responsibility included regulatory treatment of natural gas, coal, nuclear, solar, offshore wind, coal combustion residuals, renewable energy credits, production tax credits, and various related issues. As part of managing each of these annual filings, he also led the discovery process.

Jared is continuing his education in economics and regulatory issues by completing an MA of Economics emphasized in Public Utility Policy and Regulation at New Mexico State University
